Virtual Quiz Web App

The Virtual Quiz Web App is a web application for an Online Buzzer Quiz Competition designed for secondary school students in Malaysia. It was developed during the Covid-19 pandemic to enable the competition to proceed as usual. Instead of participating physically, students only need to join via their own computers or school PCs. By integrating with the Zoom API and incorporating real-time response, we have made live chat and live buzzer features possible via the web app, allowing students to compete in the quiz as smoothly as if they were doing it in person.

As many schools have participated in the competition, event organizers can create different rooms for various matches. For instance, school A is matched to compete with school B, while school C competes with school D. Participants will then be assigned to different rooms to compete against their designated opponents. Those who are not assigned to a specific room will not have access to that room.
